Community Education

The Department of Community Education provides educational programming designed to meet a wide spectrum of individual, workplace, and community needs. At locations throughout the county, we offer hope to adults who are ready to grow personally and professionally. Whether it be through H.S.E. preparation, 21st Century After School Programs, or ESL, Community Education helps people move forward on their path to success. Convenient Child Care
How a child's day begins, and what happens after school, can have a big impact on school performance.

Continuing Education
For non-credit courses for students of all ages on topics such as computers, industry, arts, and activities, have a look at our "Learn For Life" courses.

Adult Basic Education (ABE)
Students age 18 and older may study for their H.S.E. or improve basic skills.

English as a New Language
This program offers opportunities for adults to learn English at no cost to them.

H.S.E. Testing Center
ECS operates a testing center for students who want to obtain their H.S.E. diploma. 

21st Century Program
After-school learning opportunities for students in grades K-6 who attend certain ECS schools.
