21st Century Community Learning Centers
The mission of Elkhart's 21st Century Community Learning Centers is to provide a safe environment where students are empowered to become competent and responsible community leaders of the future. The centers provide recreation, enrichment, academic assistance, and character development in safe, supervised environments at Monger Elementary, Pierre Moran Middle School and Elkhart Central High School.
Daily homework clubs are offered at each site. Other club offerings include Yearbook/Newspaper, Cooking Up a Story, Computer, Math Pentathlon, Choir and Dance. Each club has its own exciting feel to keep students engaged and excited to be there while still teaching core Indiana Academic Standards.
The after-school clubs operate Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. Busing is provided.
If your child is a student at one of the schools listed below and you'd like more information about this program, please contact the school's coordinator at the number listed.
