Noted Speaker to Present Anti-Bullying Message to Elkhart County

John Halligan, who lost his 13-year-old son Ryan to suicide in 2003, will speak to Elkhart County parents at a community forum on the emotional and physical consequences of bullying.

Halligan’s free, public presentation, "Bullying, Cyber Bullying and Youth Depression," will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 25 at Concord Mall. | More

Approximatley 25 awards were awarded to Elkhart Community Schools' student artists exhibiting works in the 31st annual Youth Art in Elkhart exhibit at the Midwest Museum of American Art this month. Team Up for Relay For Life

The Memorial High School track will again be the site of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for northern Elkhart County. Organizers of the annual cancer awareness and fundraising event hope to double the number of teams, and the amount of money raised, from last year’s inaugural northern relay. | More
