Elkhart Community Schools, in partnership with area organizations, is excited to offer students the opportunity to participate in an exciting full schedule of summer programming!

Elementary Schools

Kindergarten Readiness Program
DATE: July 25-29, 2022
TIMES: 8:00am-12:00pm
GRADES: Incoming Kindergartners
LOCATION: Beardsley, Beck, Bristol, Cleveland, Daly (held at Woodland), Eastwood, Feeser, Monger, Osolo, Pinewood, Riverview, Roosevelt, Woodland
TRANSPORT: Transportation is available for students who live outside the school walk zone, but the Transportation Form must be received by ECS no later than May 27th.

Join us for engaging, hands on academic enrichment, STEM programming, Art clubs, sports clinic, SEL programming, tournaments, and have fun in our games rooms, which is full of card games, board games, and video games.

Lifeline Summer Camp
DATES: June 6th- July 27th
TIMES: 8:00am-3:00pm
GRADES: 1-6
LOCATION: Pierre Moran Middle School
TRANSPORT: None
MEALS: Breakfast & Lunch provided
COST: $10 a week

Lifeline is a faith-based program that provides a fun, safe, family-like atmosphere for youth in Elkhart. While at summer camp, youth can enjoy a variety of activities: gym, outdoor, swimming, crafts, and the friendship of others. We are also adding more educational components that teach math, reading, and engineering in a fun engaging way.

Summerscape Day Camp
DATES: June 6th- July 29th
TIMES: 8:00am-3:00pm (Free before and after care 7:00 AM-5:00 PM)
GRADES: K-6
LOCATION: North Side Middle School
TRANSPORT: School bus transport from your closest elementary school
MEALS: Lunch & snack provided COST: $125 a week Scholarships available for ECS Students

Summerscape is a summer learning program of the Elkhart Education Foundation. Summerscape is open to all K-6 students including out-of-district. Each camp session has a unique theme and a specially designed curriculum that’s fun, engaging, and educational. All camps are taught by certified teachers and assisted by classified staff and junior counselors. Adventure awaits at Summerscape!

Elkhart Summer Stem Camp

DATES: July 11-July 29

LOCATION: Elkhart High School
TRANSPORT: Camp Elkhart Students Only

Elkhart Summer STEM Camp will inspire Elkhart School children through participation in hands-on learning activities in the STEM career fields of aviation and space (Aerospace). Elkhart STEM Camp will also provide hands-on experiences through fun, engaging programming that will encourage children to explore their inner sense of wonder. Introducing children to engaging aviation and space STEM activities will result in discovery, reward curiosity, and leave students amazed at all that they can do. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

Elkhart City Parks Camp Connection
DATES: June 6-July 29 (Mon-Fri)
TIMES: 8am to 4pm
GRADES: Incoming 1st through 6th
LOCATIONS: Studebaker Park, Woodland Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary
TRANSPORT: None
MEALS: Lunch provided
COST: $110 for 7 weeks

Low cost and high impact, Camp Connection offers field trips, hands on programming, and opportunities to see and do new things. Partnering with 5 Star Life, the campers will be able to participate in new learning outcomes, activities, and go to 5 Star’sCamp Summit! Kids will have a blast while learning some skills and meeting friends all summer long!

Formerly known as Jump Start, Camp Elkhart will focus on the continuation of instructional support to address learning loss and gaps with enrichment through fun, engaging activities activities will take place.

Five Star Life will be hosting various camp opportunities (single day or mini camps) that will be full of fun outdoor experiential activities that were designed to develop and challenge your child. Equine, Rock Wall, Fishing, Archery, Hatchet Throwing, Art, Nature, and High Ropes Course to name a few!
