Elkhart Community Schools Holds Letter Of Intent Day

Elkhart Community Schools is receiving a better look at its bright future.

This week, dozens of students across Elkhart High School and Elkhart Area Career Center education programs signed letters of intent with the district. The letters state that, after the student is complete with their secondary education, they intend to begin their formal teaching career at Elkhart Community Schools. The promise also states that ECS will ensure that they will be welcomed back with open arms.

Students signing these commitments covered a wide variety of grade level desires, subject areas, and ultimate career goals. Many spoke about their experiences with ECS, and how the district's unique and award-winning programming boosted their potential and capabilities.
