Michele A. Riise

Mrs. Riise brings more than 38 years of experience in public education and currently serves as Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools for ECS. She has served as a teacher, principal, central office administrator, and superintendent, with a strong record of improving student achievement, strengthening instructional systems, and maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Previously, Ms. Riise served as superintendent in two districts and as assistant superintendent overseeing academics, human resources, and operations. She has led strategic planning efforts, district consolidation work, and major facilities projects while maintaining strong fiscal stability.

Ms. Riise holds advanced degrees in educational leadership and administration from Purdue University and has been recognized for academic excellence in the schools and districts she has led.
