Meal Prices

Full-pay meal prices for 2022-2023 are as follows:

  • Elementary
    • Breakfast: $2.10
    • Lunch: $3.00
    • Extra Milk: $0.75
  • Middle:
    • Breakfast: $2.30
    • Lunch:  $3.25
    • Extra Milk: $0.75
  • High
    • Breakfast:  $2.35
    • Lunch: $3.35
    • Extra Milk: $0.75

For students who qualify for REDUCED cost meals, the costs are:

  • Breakfast (all schools): $0.30
  • Lunch (all schools): $0.40

Pay for Meals

Elkhart Community Schools encourages parents/guardians to prepay for student meals to help lunch lines move quicker and to give students more time to enjoy their lunches. 

  • Online payments: a simple, safe and secure way to make payments to your students account 24 hours a day at your convenience. Elkhart Community Schools uses Titan Prepay Services to manage online payments:
    • Please note that Titan administers a $2.60 surcharge per transaction as a convenience fee.
  • Checks: parents/guardians can also send a check to school with their child. We encourage parents/guardians to print deposit slips to accompany payments sent with students: Deposit Slips

Free/Reduced Breakfast and Lunches

Elkhart Community Schools encourages all families to apply for Free and Reduced Lunch. In addition to free or reduced costs for meals, additional benefits for qualified households include:

  • Free or reduced curriculum fees
  • Free broadband-enabled iPads for educational use while at home (based on availability)
  • Discounted or waived college application fees
  • Discounted or waived fees for standard academic tests, such as the ACT, SAT, and Advanced Placement
  • Federal education grants and Title I funding
  • Increased funding for the school district in areas like Technology
