Eastwood Elementary

Eastwood Elementary is a small school with many big opportunities. With an enrollment around 450 students, Eastwood is one of the smallest in the Elkhart Community Schools district, but it is big on academic performance. The heart and soul of Eastwood Elementary is certainly the children, who enter the building each day eager to learn. Studentsʼ enthusiasm to acquire a new piece of knowledge, to participate in a school activity, or to just be with friends is contagious. Academic performance is a highlight at Eastwood, with superior ISTEP and IREAD-3 test scores, as well as state-ranked clubs like Robotics. Eastwoodʼs parent involvement is exceptional, and the many parents and community members who work with students each day help complete a circle of caring individuals striving to do what is best for children. At Eastwood, school is a warm, exciting, and fun place to be. Eastwood Elementary is located on the northeast side of Elkhart, near the County Road 17/Toll Road corridor.
